LOCATION

Saginaw Valley State University is located in Saginaw, Michigan in the American Midwest. The city is located on the Saginaw Rivers, a few miles inland from Saginaw Bay. The area enjoys 4 distinct seasons. Saginaw’s diverse neighborhoods each have something special to offer residents. The downtown area is home to the zoo, the Dow Events Center and the Temple Theater. Old Town, which is on the other side of the river, is home to many popular bars, locally owned restaurants and artistic venues. Residents here will never be short of places to visit or things to do. Saginaw is home to the Castle Museum of Saginaw County, The Anderson Enrichment Center, The Saginaw Art Museum which is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, and the Theodore Roethke Home Museum, a National Literary Landmark.
