The University of New Haven (UNH) is a private university composed of The College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, Tagliatela College of Engineering and the College of Lifelong and eLearning. UNH offers 75 undergraduate and graduate degrees. Experimental learning while using a hands-on approach is highly emphasized at UNH, so all undergraduates must complete an academic service-learning, internship, study abroad, or faculty-mentored research in order to graduate. Aside from academics, students can get involved in numerous extracurricular activities, a popular one being athletics. UNH offers 14 NCAA Division II sports and recreational sports, both club and intramural. Other activities include community service, leadership development, clubs and organizations, undergraduate student government, and many others.
